I am a Tv and Film Director and Producer working for the BBC. My films include the award winning Titan A Place like Home, the acclaimed drama doc The Genius Sperm Bank, Earth Power of the Planet with Prof Iain Stewart, and explorations of Gravity, Time and most recently the entire Solar System with Prof Brian Cox. Currently filming around the British coastline for Oceans:UK.

I also run my own award winning film production company

Bongo Reef Pictures which makes HD short movie dramas, our

most recent being Losing the Plot currently submitting to Festivals.

I have a fair bit of experience as a self shooting HD cameraman, including underwater filming, tapeless systems and specialist cameras. Another new venture for 2010 is DandPTimelapse Photography.

I am also a published writer and photographer.

A zoologist by training, I have a doctorate from Oxford University in Australian Microhylid frog calls. I have specialist knowledge in frogs, reptiles and mammals, take an active interest in the public understanding of science, and regularly give illustrated talks to primary schools on rocks and our solar system.
